First family of 4 pics

We went to visit our beach family and while we were there I had the honor of taking the first official pictures of this wonderful family of 4.  Here are some of my favorites!

I made tutus for all 3 girls (Dani, Ellie, and Anna).  The grand plan was to take green screen shots of all 3 wearing them and put them together as a set.  But, Ellie didn't want to cooperate so this is the only one I ended up with.  But all in all, I'm pretty happy with it.

Annual Bow Shoot 2011

Every year our friends Kevin and Jamy have a bow shoot.  This was our first year to attend.  There were all kinds of things for the kids to do including 2 wet bounce house/slides, sling shots, kid's bows, etc.

The other reason every body was there (besides the food and sermon)...to shoot!  Someone brought a cool little doodad (technical term) that measures how fast your arrow travels, so you know all the boys had to play with the new toy :)

 

Yep, pregnant girls can still push cars/trucks when they get stuck!

Introducing Anna!

On the 15th Grandpa and I got to visit baby Anna at home even though she was only 2 days old.  Such a beautiful baby!!!!  I have edited the announcement, there's enough of her info on there without her last name :)


 

I can't tell who had more fun holding her...Aunt Katie or Grandpa!

 

 

I can't find the words...the closest I can come is thanking God for the blessing of adding this family to our own.  They may as well be blood!

Colton's Splash Park Party

We had another party at the splash park.  This time it was for Colton's first birthday!

Dani's friend Anderson had a birthday party at the splash park!  There were lots of people there from "school" and Dani made several new friends :)

After the end of Vacation Bible School our church had a party!  This year VBS focused on The Armor of God, along with armor came lessons about Roman soldiers and more, including getting everyone to yell "Huzzah!" to cheer.

Parker got his face painted.

 

John helped some of the kids with archery.  

Kevin and Shawn battled on the joust..  

Peter did well in "the arena"... until the bottom right picture :)  

 Then it was brother vs. brother with Peter vs. Robb  

Next it was Noah's turn to joust against his Uncle Robb.
