She's walking!!!

As of last night Danica is officially walking! And I don't mean 2 or 3 little steps...I mean strolling across the room without holding on to anything! WOOHOO, now Mommy and Daddy are really in trouble! We have video (on 2 different cameras) but I'm not sure when I'll have time to post it and I wanted to let everyone know right away! And yes, she's only 10 months old!

Day in the park

A few weekends ago Dani and Mommy decided to enjoy the beautiful weather by going to Ferran Park. As usual Mommy took too many pictures!

Dani just didn't see the point in sitting on a blanket when there's all that good grass to play with.

Then it was time to climb on Mommy.

Next she wanted to practice standing and squatting (both of which she can do without holding on to anything now).

Mommy wanted some pictures of her on the sea-wall at Lake Eustis after which Dani got aquainted with a tree.

There was lots of time spent being too cute for her own good.

But after all the fun, excitement, and pictures, Mommy was left with a very tired and cranky baby.

So we went home.

I'm posting the next picture because it shows her top teeth, since she won't let me take a picture of them when she's happy. They're not big, but they're there. And no, they aren't the very front ones.

Gander Mtn Girl

For any who don't know Gander Mtn is an outdoors store where they sell ALL KINDS of clothes, camping equipment, hunting gear, etc. If you need it to be comfortable outside, odds are they have it. I love this store and have been known to spend hours wandering through it. They also have a ton of jeans including my favorite brand and style.

Well a few weekends ago we went shopping there, it was Dani's first trip, so of course I took lots of pictures.

Little girl...ready to shop!

Dani didn't sleep too well the night before. Here's what a sleepy girl waiting for breakfast looks like.

It just takes a little food to perk her up. (She had breakfast before we left the house.)
And she's so willing to share!

In Gander Mtn she passed out. I bought her her first HMC (High Maintenance Camo) outfit. Yes we hunt, which means yes, we kill animals. We eat what we kill and if you don't like it then you should definately avoid dinner at my house. I feel that this is better for Dani. I have had issues with my female organs almost my whole life. I refuse to put my daughter more at risk for these problems by feeding her foods with tons of hormones and preservatives. We've considered being vegetarian but that just doesn't work for our family. The deer, pork, and turkey we bring home take care of our tummies as well as saving our wallets. Now, I'll just step down off my soap-box.

And that's the end of Dani's first trip to Gander Mtn!

Bed hog

We were going to let Dani sleep between us at Grandma Zonnie's but the little princess tried to take up the whole bed! We ended up putting her in her own bed so we could have a little space to sleep.

Princess Spaghetti face

Grandma Zonnie is so silly! She crowned Dani in the middle of lunch!

Trying to give Mommy a heart attack

The other morning when I went in to check on her, Dani had pulled her blanket over her head. I couldn't see her breathing and for a split second I was sure she had suffocated. But there was nothing wrong, that's just how she decided to sleep. Maybe she was trying to give me a heart attack, maybe her nose was cold, I don't know.

Big surprise

Recently Big Shawn came to visit. He was only here for one evening but it was better than nothing! Here are some pics!

And Dani really liked being behind the wheel of Shawn's big semi truck! That is until he hit the air horn...why can't I be video taping those moments???

Major fashion

Major attitude? Maybe if that attitude is a happy one.

Halloween on Thanksgiving

You've heard of Christmas in July, well on Dani's page you get Halloween on Thanksgiving! In other words, I'm finally getting around to putting up some pictures of the most adorable pink Halloween bunny EVER!

We went all over the place. We stopped at Merry's Jewelers to see Judy and Jim (Smiley wasn't there), Peddler's Wagon to see Kevin, Penny, and Mike. We went to my work to see my co-workers, John's work to see his. My Dad's house, Kat & Tony's, a random yard sale, etc.

Look out for the bunny with a badge!

Big blue eyes

One of Mommy's favorites

Dani with her "Uncle" Tony. They couldn't be any more like 2 peas in a pod!

By the time we got home it was late and Dani was exhausted from the long day but we had lots of fun.

Maybe I'll be able to get the Thanksgiving post up before Christmas!

But while I'm at it, since today is Thanksgiving, if you're reading this chances are you know us and are an important part of our lives. With that in mind I wanted to say that I am thankful for you all and for whatever it is you bring to our lives. Be it family ties or friendship we are blessed to have you.

Morning people...

Dani sure is one!

(Remember, you can click on the collages to see them bigger. And that goes for all of them, not just the ones in this post.)

She's ready for her close up!

But the morning is over now, so we need to get on with our day. Hope you have a great one!

There's a reason we call her Punkin

In the beginning of October we took Dani to the local Pumpkin Patch for some fun and pictures and boy did we get both! We hope you enjoy seeing these pics as much as we enjoyed taking them. We made 2 separate trips and had fun both times.

First let's start with our little pumpkin family

Day one, my little redneck girl in a dress and bare feet in the straw.

Day two, wearing her pink overalls (one of Mommy's favorite outfits)

She can't just be a redneck girl the first day! What's more redneck than chewing on a piece of straw?

On the second day there was a lab there, I don't remember his name but he and Dani were instant friends. Before they were introduced Dani knew he was on the other side of the pumpkins so the first pic is her trying to get his attention (the way she does with our dogs) then is the introduction.

Me and my punkin girl

And now for my absolute most favorite picture of all!
