First day of "school"

On 7-13-09 Danica had her first day at daycare (which we refer to as school). But she didn't want to pose for pictures, so I gave her the camera case and snapped what I could.

On the way home she managed to grab one of her shirts from the seat beside her. But she couldn't quite get it on because she was trying to put her head through an arm hole. Once she realized it wasn't going to work she tried to pull it off but had already gotten far enough that it was stuck. Needless to say she was NOT happy with the situation, unfortunately for her, Mommy was still feeling camera happy.

So I pulled off the road and got it off her head. Then I gave her my water bottle to cheer her up.

Sorting through stuff

On July 12 Aunt Kathie came over to help Grammie sort through some of Aunt Sue's stuff. Dani got to help!


And she got to love on Aunt Kathie!

Thanks to Dani, what could have been a super sad day had a few extra smiles.

2 play dates in one day

In June Dani and I went to play at Abby's house then we went to another friend's house to watch the UFC fights. There Dani got to play with Tristin but Mommy didn't take many pictures.

When Dani was a newborn she made a face all the time that reminded me of the podlings in The Dark Crystal. She made the face again and I got a pic!

And it would appear I have a little model. She loves to pose for pictures!

Independence Day Weekend

Friday July 3rd Mommy had the day off, after Daddy got home from work Dani got dressed up and we went to Eustis for the street party and fireworks. Dani wore her adorable patriotic outfit that Grandma Rosie got for her.

Last year she was too small to really see the fireworks...not this year!!! I love that she kept pointing like "hey Mom, the good stuff is happening up there"

Saturday July 4th Mommy had to work but after work Dani got dressed up again (yes in the same outfit) and we went to the Twisty Treat and met with Josh and Brian and their families to watch the Tavares fireworks.

On the 5th we went to Grandma Zonnie's to swim and cook out.

Then it was swim time! Dani didn't care so much for her floaty suit but she did better on her back than usual.

Once she was in a regular swim suit she was a lot happier. And both little ones love their yellow float ring

On the way home from Grandma Zonnie's we stopped for icecream. This was the first time Dani got her own cone, before she's always shared one of ours.

Cherry Bomb Ball

At the end of June was the First Annual Cherry Bomb Ball, it's an event for fans of vintage and pin-up style. Half naked chicks, great cars, burlesque dancers, tons of clothes and accessories for sale. Appearantly our group is the only ones cool with our kids being exposed to this but hey, the way I see it, Dani sees more skin at the beach. Parker was wearing his Rockabilly stuff, and Dani was a little more Phychobilly than Rockabilly but insanely cute!!!!

Grammie got hitched!!!

On June 20, 2009 Becky McCall and Bruce Gullion got married. In Dani terms...Grammie and PawPaw got dressed up and so did she! I'm sure there are more pics of Dani, probably better pics but I haven't gotten them all from Mom.









And as it should be...it was all about family

Wedding rehearsal

In June Grammie got married but before that could happen there had to be a rehearsal. So Grandma Zonnie came to church and after the regular service we practiced.


And of course...Mommy took pictures.

Little Miss Funny Face

Danic has two silly faces she makes that I absolutely love!

The first is when she scrunches up her nose, but gets carried away and scrunches her whole face. I don't know if she's trying to wink or wiggle her nose, but either way it cracks me up.

This one is her "frog face" even though it's more like a little lizard...

Socks and Shoooooes!

Danica loves putting on grown up socks and shoes! She puts them on all by herself and then parades around. Then she takes them off, puts them back on, and starts all over again :)

The Keeles attack Mad Beach!

At the end of May I was in a mini-triathlon at Madiera Beach (on the gulf coast) with a co-worker. I not only survived it, I finished in less than an hour! We got there Friday night, the mini-tri was Saturday morning. After it was done and we went back to our room everybody was tired.


Then we got up and met with my co-worker and her family and watched the sun set. Be warned there are a lot of pics of it...






Dani had fun, I love the sunset reflected in her eyes.

We all went to dinner at The Friendly Fisherman (PJ said we had to, and I'm glad she did, it was delish!). After dinner we did tourist pics with the shark jaw and fake dolphin, then John had to try the hurricane simulator. PJ laughed at him wasting his money on it, then Joe and Lizzy had to try it too and we laughed even harder. The yellow tube is the simulator.


The next day Dani couldn't wait to swim and play with Lizzy more. While we were packing she was looking out the window toward their room.

Dani's first trip to the zoo

On May 25th Dani visited the zoo for the first time. She didn't seem overly impressed but I blame that on the fact that she's seen monkeys and big cats up close before. She's even touched a tiger already (Rambo was sedated when that happened) So here are some pics of animals she hadn't seen before. (Well, she hasn't seen full size kangaroos)

After the zoo we had lunch with Kat and her mom (Nana Susie). Then we walked around the mall. Dani fell in love with the tempur-pedic bear and kept running back to it even after we were out of the store.

And since she hadn't taken a nap yet she fell asleep before we were out of the mall parking lot.

Grand Opening

Amy's Video Magic had it's grand opening in May the 3 of us were there along with our Moms. As usual Dani was too cute, but for some reason she didn't want to show her teeth when she smiled that day.

Abby's first birthday

The day after Tristin's party was Abby's first birthday party. Mommy and Dani weren't feeling great and it was very hot outside so we didn't take many pictures. Abby loved her cake!
