The Keeles attack Mad Beach!

At the end of May I was in a mini-triathlon at Madiera Beach (on the gulf coast) with a co-worker. I not only survived it, I finished in less than an hour! We got there Friday night, the mini-tri was Saturday morning. After it was done and we went back to our room everybody was tired.


Then we got up and met with my co-worker and her family and watched the sun set. Be warned there are a lot of pics of it...






Dani had fun, I love the sunset reflected in her eyes.

We all went to dinner at The Friendly Fisherman (PJ said we had to, and I'm glad she did, it was delish!). After dinner we did tourist pics with the shark jaw and fake dolphin, then John had to try the hurricane simulator. PJ laughed at him wasting his money on it, then Joe and Lizzy had to try it too and we laughed even harder. The yellow tube is the simulator.


The next day Dani couldn't wait to swim and play with Lizzy more. While we were packing she was looking out the window toward their room.

Dani's first trip to the zoo

On May 25th Dani visited the zoo for the first time. She didn't seem overly impressed but I blame that on the fact that she's seen monkeys and big cats up close before. She's even touched a tiger already (Rambo was sedated when that happened) So here are some pics of animals she hadn't seen before. (Well, she hasn't seen full size kangaroos)

After the zoo we had lunch with Kat and her mom (Nana Susie). Then we walked around the mall. Dani fell in love with the tempur-pedic bear and kept running back to it even after we were out of the store.

And since she hadn't taken a nap yet she fell asleep before we were out of the mall parking lot.

Grand Opening

Amy's Video Magic had it's grand opening in May the 3 of us were there along with our Moms. As usual Dani was too cute, but for some reason she didn't want to show her teeth when she smiled that day.

Abby's first birthday

The day after Tristin's party was Abby's first birthday party. Mommy and Dani weren't feeling great and it was very hot outside so we didn't take many pictures. Abby loved her cake!

Then we went home and took a nap in the A/C.

Tristin turns two!

In the middle of May there was a big party to celebrate Tristin turning 2! (And to celebrate his mommy turning 30!)

There was a small pool set up for the little ones which Dani couldn't get into fast enough.


There was a 30 foot water slide. To give you an idea...the person at the top is an adult! I certainly got a work-out climbing up with Dani repeatedly.


And it wouldn't be a birthday party without cake and icecream. The birthday boy not only enjoyed eating his but also wearing it.


Then Dani realized that if she gave him a kiss she would get a little icing on her own face


And as usual...she fell asleep before we were really even headed home.

Post-bath smiles

After her bath Danica likes to be wrapped up in a giant towel. I love her eyes in the bigger picture. She's happy until it's time for me to comb out her hair.
